The Problem
The problem manufacturers face
The manual inspection of aluminium slugs for defects such as scratch marks or dents is labour-intensive and error-prone, leading to inconsistencies and delays in production. Additionally, the wide range of diameters complicates the inspection process, resulting in inefficiencies and potential quality issues.
The Pain Area
The pain areas of manufacturer are
camera-based slug inspection system utilizes advanced imaging technology to meticulously analyze and identify defects in aluminum slugs, ensuring impeccable quality control.
Working:
Our innovative application revolutionizes aluminum slug inspection, swiftly identifying defects with precision. By seamlessly integrating advanced imaging technology and automated rejection systems, we ensure quality and efficiency.
The slug has scratch mark, dent or other defects. The product range 50-80mm diameter.
Slugs will pass from rotary bowl feeder on motorized conveyor belt & camera mounted on top of the belt & high-pressure air thorough NOT OK slug on Belt then it pass through opposite side & again pass through another camera & rejection system.
System will capture image & process it within microsecond & show result on PC screen. IF NOT OK then air throw rejected slug from belt.
